Tryouts in Los Angeles on January 14 & 15 went well. We had 23 register with 19 showing up. We didn't get a few players we were counting on, but those that chose to come gave great efforts. Our tryout journey ended here with 5 new players being added from these tryouts to go along with the 15 we chose from the Philadelphia tryout the week before. Overall, we have chosen, what I believe to be an outstanding team. We are very excited to build on our Impossible Dream becoming possible from 2013. We now want to add to our Legacy by winning back to back Gold Medals in Defending our 2013 Championship and cementing our Legacy for the Ages! We will not hope to win, but rather dedicate ourselves to accomplishing our Legacy through commitment to our System of buying in with honor and loyalty to each other on and off the field. The following players will be defending our Championship with dignity, honor and loyalty: GK: Josh Haberman, Princeton University and Max Kurtzman, former UPenn goalkeeper and member of the 2013 Gold Medal Team Defenders: Ryan Jones, former Marywood University player and member of the 2013 Gold Medal Team, Sam Raben, starting defender from Wake Forest University, Jonny Dolezal, former UPenn defender and pro in Norway, Benjamin Issroff, starting defender for Princeton University, Elijah Lichtenberg, defender from Claremont Mudd Scripps University, William Cohen from Amherst University. Midfielders: Evin Nadaner, former Boston University player and currently playing for FC Sonthofen in Germany and MVP on our 2013 Gold Medal Team, Drew Rosenberg, Gold Medal Winner from our 2013 Team and Northwestern University, Kovi Konowiecki, member of tge 2013 Gold Medal Team and former captain of Wake Forest University, Jake Rozhansky starting midfielder for University of Maryland, former National Champion at University of Virginia and U15 & 19 & 23 US National teams, Aaron Franco, U20 Peruvian National pkayer and currently playing for University of Maryland, Zach Pfeffer, MLS player for Philadelphia Union and Colorado Rapids and former US U15, 18 and 23 National Teams, Danny Rubenstein, Captain of Wesleyan University, Lance Dotzman, All American from Muhlenberg College and Sam Friedman former Lafayette University player. Strikers: Stephen Elias, starter at NC State University, Alec Weiss, former Villanova player and Oliver Eisen, currently playing for FC Taby in Sweden. All in all, this is a team that can cement our Legacy for the Ages and I am very proud to be coaching them in Israel this summer. Stay tuned for periodic updates and hopefully, some more photos. Tryouts in Philly, January 6 & 7, 2017

Well we had our first of two tryouts this past weekend in Philadelphia, PA. While the weather was very cold and snowy, we were indoors for all three sessions at the Indoor Bubble at UPenn. We had a very good turnout, with 27 field players and 6 goalkeepers. Everyone did their best and were impressive. If California tryouts this coming weekend is of the same quality, I truly believe between both tryout venues, we can select a team that will be able to defend our 2013 Gold Medal! That is why we are all here and going back! It's going to be fun trying for sure. Here is a photo from dinner with three of our 2013 Gold Medal players last evening.
